WOMEN EMPOWERMENT AND ANTI-CORRUPTION

Course Overview

The aim of this course is to deepen the understanding of: 1) basic concepts related to gender equality, women’s empowerment, corruption and anti-corruption and the links between these concepts; 20 the context of UNDP operations that supports gender sensitive programming in all its work (including its anti-corruption programmes); 3) definitions of corruption and its impact specially from grassroots women’s perspectives; and 4) synergies between gender equality, women’s empowerment and anti-corruption, particularly by building on grassroots women’s anti-corruption strategies and the implications for UNDP programming.
